CELEBRATING MARITIME 2050 ONE-YEAR-ON

Speech delivered by Maritime Minister Nusrat Ghani in the Houses of Parliament on 3 February 2020, one year on from the launch of Maritime 2050.

In her speech in Parliament the Maritime Minister spoke of her confidence the challenges set out for maritime 2050 are being met.  This was the first long term strategy for maritime and the prime Minister holds the ambition that maritime is at the forefront of the new relationship with the EU.

 

The minister also set the achievements so far for trade, environment, people, infrastructure, competitive advantage and future priorities.
