National or International Driver CPC ?
The consideration is for you, taking into account the driving that you do, and perhaps a little future proofing. The International CPC will cover you to drive professionally within the UK and abroad, whereas the National CPC will only cover driving legally within the UK and not for international journeys, even if that may be a single event, a one-off.
RETURN TO DRIVING CPC
IoTA are one of the first to offer return to driving CPC courses of 7 hours duration as part of your qualification to return to driving professionally.
You must meet the criteria to undertake the return to driving course – your Driver CPC must have expired between 60 days and 2 years ago.
On completion of the return to driving course you will need to complete the further 28 hours of CPC training (to provide the 35 hours required) within 12 months to be able to maintain the qualification and driver professionally.
