Coach parking available at New Covent Garden Market

20 Nov 2019

For the next few months, starting from 1 December, New Covent Garden Market in Nine Elms, South West London will have short-term parking available for a limited number of coaches.

A maximum of 30 coaches will be able to park in a designated area of the site between 6am – 6pm, Monday to Saturday, for a maximum period of 12 hours at an inclusive price of £35.

Coach parking will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Access to the site is via the market’s main entrance on Nine Elms Lane, post code SW8 5BH.

Andy Warrender, CPT Coaching Manager, welcomed the news, saying: “The reductions in coach parking in central London in recent years have placed a huge strain on the industry. The availability of coach parking in Nine Elms, although temporary, is encouraging news and will hopefully lead to more coach tours returning to the capital.”

Based in Nine Elms since 1974, the iconic New Covent Garden Market is home to nearly 200 businesses with around 2,500 employees. It is currently undergoing an exciting redevelopment that will transform the site into a thriving, modern food quarter for London, with a world leading wholesale and distribution market operating alongside innovative, next generation food businesses.
