Direct Vision Standard statement by Logistics UK and RHA for TfL

7 Sep 2023

Concerns over the proposed changes to the Direct Vision Standard scheme due in October 2024, and which will place a substantial onus on operators have been raised by Logistics UK and RHA to TfL.

The new safety standard will require equipment already installed to meet the current standard to be replaced.  But TfL has not made clear as to why.

Certainty is necessary for the understanding of expectations, the planning and investing in the right equipment, the letter to TfL indicates.
