DVLA WORKERS ON STRIKE

24 Jun 2021

DVLA WORKERS ON STRIKE

DVLA could be gridlocked by months of strike action as hundreds of workers walked out on Tuesday until Thursday as a covid safety row rumbles on.

Fears were sparked after two workers said to have contracted the virus worked on the same floor as staff with underlying health conditions, and claims that staff failed to follow distancing rules.

The chief executive suggested there were 1,500 people working from home at the start of the crisis which sparked questions as to accuracy.
