DVSA THEORY TEST BOOKING SYSTEM FAULT

22 Jul 2021

Following notification from DVSA that the new theory test booking system was due to go live on Monday 19 July 2021, their test providers, Pearson Vue, have reported a system issue for Region B (South West and Wales).

Unfortunately, trainer bookers will be unable to book tests for on or after 6 September in Region B (South West and Wales) using the trainer booker system as had originally been planned.

DVSA customer service centre agents will not be able to book tests on trainers behalf either, the contact centre will also not be able to provide assistance if called.

Tests will still be able to be booked for on or before 3 September in the South West and Wales, using the existing trainer booker portal and candidates will be able to book a theory test on or after 6 September in Region B using the public booking system, because this an issue with the trainer booker system only.

DVSA wish to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause service users and they are working with Pearson Vue to resolve this as soon as possible. They will let all concerned know once the issue has been resolved.
