EU hours rules adopted by Ukraine

17 Feb 2026

War-torn Ukraine has adopted EU rules on drivers’ working time and the obligation to use G2V2 smart tachographs in international transport.

The new rules include driving and rest standards, a ban on regular weekly cabin rest, and expanded data recording and storage obligations.

The changes will come into force in the summer of 2026 and have a direct impact on the transport market in the EU.
