Forecourts must submit pump price changes as ‘fuel finder’ launches

4 Feb 2026

Filling stations must report any alterations to their fuel prices within 30 minutes of implementation from Monday, February 2.

The real-time data is required for the launch of the Government’s open data ‘fuel finder’ scheme, which will allow consumers to easily compare prices.

RAC head of policy Simon Williams said: “We hope this is the start of the journey to cheaper fuel prices around the UK.
