Guide to Driver Conduct Hearings

13 Oct 2022

The Traffic Commissioners have issued in depth guidance regarding Driver Conduct Hearings,    in addition to information contained within the Senior Traffic Commissioners Statutory Document no. 6.

The guidance explains what a driver hearing is and the reasons a driver may be required to attend as well as publication of the outcome.  It provides information as to preparation for attendance, representation and the hearing format as well as examples of action that can be taken.

The hearing, which can be virtual or in-person, provides the driver with an opportunity to give information regarding the call up, and to relay the affect potential decisions can have upon them and their work.
