M27 Full Closure – Christmas & New Year 2025

4 Nov 2025

The M27 will be fully closed in both directions between Junctions 9 (Whiteley) and 11 (Fareham) from 8pm on 24 December 2025 to 4am on 4 January 2026 for major works by Hampshire County Council and National Highways. The closure supports the Junction 10 improvement scheme, including the installation of a new dual carriageway underpass. The full closure replaces months of phased restrictions and is timed for the quieter Christmas period.

A diversion via the A27 will be in place, though delays are expected. Drivers are urged to plan ahead and check updates.
