Public service vehicle travel - Reminder from Office of Traffic Commissioner

1 Jan 2021

Coronavirus (COVID-19): safer public service vehicle travel

The traffic commissioners remind public service vehicle operators of the government restrictions in place for COVID-19 and the rules around essential travel. Businesses should be mindful of local and national restrictions when taking bookings.

Operators found to be facilitating groups who are not adhering to the rules could find themselves in breach of the undertakings on their licence.

This includes transporting organised groups to hospitality venues to watch sporting events in breach of the law and guidance.
