Regulatory decisions made about the conduct of professional drivers – Update and a longer list

27 Jul 2020

Decisions made by Traffic Commissioners on hearings around Heavy Goods Vehicle and Passenger Carrying Vehicle driving entitlement.

Some time ago operators raised concerns that they were not always made aware of when a driver had been called to a conduct hearing before the Traffic Commissioner.  They were not always aware of the outcome and any action that had been taken regards the vocational licence held by a driver, so the Traffic Commissioners listened to those concerns. The result is a regularly published document detailing basic driver information and the outcome of their hearing.

This enables operators to have the ability to check drivers at any stage and know whether they are able to perform their duties without the worry of has their licence been removed or suspended.
