IRU – Humanitarian Aid rules and tolls exemptions

The International Road Transport Union (IRU) has updated information from seven countries regarding simplified procedures for humanitarian cross border aid to Ukraine.

The new update for operators and drivers lists exemptions for heavy goods vehicles covering tolls, driving and rest time amongst other regulations.

IRU says the support of supply chain and mobility networks to transport refugees has been overwhelming.  They aim to make sure the road transport industry can provide assistance where needed by working with members and national relief agencies.
