16 Jun 2025

The research presents findings from an evidence review on the accessibility and inclusivity of bus and coach services.

The Department for Transport commissioned NatCen to explore gaps in the current research evidence base. Their report:

  • explores perceptions, barriers and enablers to using bus and coach services
  • identifies best practices for stops and stations to enhance accessibility, inclusivity and personal safety
