Traffic Commissioners updated Covid – 19 advice

25 Jun 2020

Includes key changes in registration of bus services. Previous advice referred to the 31st August as a potential end date for temporary timetables introduced during the pandemic.  There is a revised date of 30th September for England and Wales, with a note confirming this date will be kept under review.

Flexible arrangements for bus registrations which currently has a notice period of 24 hours on England and Scotland will see the period for notification changed to 72 hours on 29th June in Scotland.

Revised advice also includes periods of grace, approach to Public Inquiries and driver conduct hearings and online training.
