Invites responses to an independent review, led by Sir Peter Hendy, on how transport can support economic growth and quality of life across the UK.

 

Consultation description

On 30 June 2020, the Prime Minister announced an independent review, led by Sir Peter Hendy, of how the quality and availability of transport infrastructure across the UK can support economic growth and quality of life across the whole of the UK.

 

This union connectivity review will provide independent advice to the UK government.

The terms of reference were published on 3 October 2020.

 

The government has asked Sir Peter to consult widely, and this call for evidence seeks views and responses from:

  • industry
  • academics
  • local authorities
  • engineering experts
  • the general public
