Vocational Training and Testing Restart Plan - DVSA

11 Mar 2021

Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has been working with stakeholders, including CPT, to agree restart date for vocational testing services.  If the proposed relaxation of travel restrictions in England occurs on 29 March, DVSA has announced that industry training and testing can restart from that date.

DVSA has also announced that in-vehicle and classroom-based Driver CPC training provided by third parties can restart from 12 April, with Theory tests also planned for an intended restart on 12 April.

The re-start dates presently apply to England but DVSA is working with the Scottish Government and Welsh Government to agree dates where training and testing can resume in those countries as they emerge from lockdown.

Updates will be provided as soon as information is received.
